Beautiful, Strange Peachy-Orange Sunrise

This was probably the prettiest, strangest, peachy-orange-colored sunrise I have ever seen! I have a view from my house on the lake of incredible sunrises, reflections of sunsets, storms, and everything in between and even when it's gray, it is beautiful. But this... this was amazing.

I was up early, as usual, about a week ago, working in my studio. My shade was drawn, but not all the way. I realized there was a strange, orange glow in the room. I raised the shade up and could hardly believe my eyes. As always, I grabbed my camera and ran outside to my porch and yard to capture the beauty. I did not enhance the color or light in these photos. Notice how the yellow leaves are almost glowing orange. Yes, all of those orange leaves are actually yellow! Once again, I am grateful - for being awake to witness and experience this beauty.

Thank you God for sunrises and thank you for each morning
that I am alive to experience them.
