It was a super, duper gorgeous day! I grabbed my camera and ran out to my porch to capture another pretty view of the lake. This little guy flew right up to me and perched only about a foot away, cocked his little head and chirped! I was so happily surprised and startled.
I went back in the house and started cleaning the kitchen. I kept hearing this strange little tapping sound. Finally, rubber gloves and all, I followed the sound to my living room. My new friend was trying to get my attention! There was the little guy tapping on the window and flying from a lamp on my porch to my candle chandelier. Back and forth, very persistent! Adorable!!!
Janie loved him too! She thought he was there for her, but I know better. He was my new friend!
