Always Grateful

Grateful for the view: Even in the midst of difficulty, there is beauty to notice. I am grateful. My beautiful little lake is free of ice and the fishermen are out enjoying the serenity on this misty, foggy morning. I am too. I never ever tire of this view. It is always there and yet always a bit different. My husband and I were just commenting yesterday evening how sometimes the mountains across the lake seem huge and so close and other times so far away.

Grateful for his life and our faith in life after here: A dear family member is suffering with serious illness.

Grateful that we have had him for almost 15 years: My sweet old dog, Willie is having difficulty and I know the time is near. I just wish it would be taken out of our hands. He is eating and drinking and begging for treats. But, he is almost completely incontinent and we are very weary. We are up with him every night, sometimes every hour!

Grateful for the BLESSING of this new little life: Our puppy, Bear is confused. Is it okay to potty in the house? Hmmm..... Willie gets to!

Grateful for our needs being met, our cozy home: Financial concerns...
