The day started out beautiful with a white, foggy mist hanging over the frozen lake and mountains. As you can see in the picture above, the mountains across the lake were completely hidden. Mystical!
As the fog lifted the day turned into one of those (kinda rare in this neck-of-the woods) days that is snowy, cold, bright, and sunny! By kinda rare, I mean that here, in the Inland NW sunshine in the winter isn't a daily occurrence. It is always beautiful here, even when the skies are gray, but oh, how I love it when the sky is a bright, baby blue and the snow is sparkling and magical.

I feel like I am living in Dean Martin's song, It's a Marshmallow World. I LOVE this glorious day!!!! I am sooooo grateful!
